October 2008- We took a drive up to the English Lake District and stayed on Lake Windermere. Our friends Sara and Jason joined us for the weekend adventure. On Saturday, it RAINED... ALL day long- sideways. We did what we could to amuse ourselves with indoor activities to escape the outdoors which were cold and very, very wet. So, there are no pics from Sat. b/c there wasn't anything worth seeing. Sunday was a beautiful day and really made up for Saturday. We were able to venture out and about and get some great pics of the lakes and the surrounding countryside. We even went for a horseback ride!
