Hadrian's Wall : Nov. 2008- A quick day trip up to Hadrian's Wall. It was about a 2 hour drive north from York. The wall was built by the Romans across the north of England. It wasn't too cold outside, but it was VERY windy! You will see a few picks were we are almost getting knocked over.

Nov. 2008- A quick day trip up to Hadrian's Wall. It was about a 2 hour drive north from York. The wall was built by the Romans across the north of England. It wasn't too cold outside, but it was VERY windy! You will see a few picks were we are almost getting knocked over.

Peak District : April 5-6, we visited the Peak District which is south west of York. Chatsworth house in Bakewell was a beautiful estate and gardens. We could have spent a lot more time wandering around the grounds of the house. We stayed the night in Matlock Bath which was a cute little town that reminded us of North Georgia. On Sunday we visited several other areas in the Peak District including multiple caverns.
